Street suddenly comes alive and is no longer a mere place of transit. A group of dancers slowly creeps into a plaza, a bench or stairs from the port. For artists (who by the hand of the dancer Florence Martinelli Uruguay have been called "escenalborde" to celebrate the 36 anniversary of the creation of "Contac") the city dances through touch, direct contact they get with the bodies of their comrades and the many objects that are part of our urban ideology . For spectators, a show strange and unexpected moves through the hills of Valparaiso by the contortions and physical immediacy that surprising that both the main engine to continue dancing.

In the "Contac" no limits and no movement is deliberate. Thus, an artistic expression that plays with the approach that eliminates the distance and makes direct contact with their main weapon, can be the beginning of a long discussion, a question that leads us to think of our natural desire to measure and limit everything (in blocks, centimeters, private, restricted access areas, in places where it is not allowed to drive) and discover that sometimes the city can take on a life of its own and thus, perhaps, seeking to recover that freedom which slowly We have stripped.

Some, not knowing what we were getting into, crossed my thoughts and feelings during the early hours of those 36 ...
